The launch of the Forest and Climate Leaders’ Partnership during the World Leaders’ Summit (WLS) on 7 November at the UNFCCC COP 27 in Egypt set the tone for high ambition and action on forests throughout the rest of the conference and for promises beyond COP.

This year’s UN climate change conference hosted in Sharm-El-Sheikh, Egypt, featured important discussions on climate justice, climate finance and negotiations by over 200 countries on the state and future of climate action.
